Rich wanted a fun tribute to his favorite Corgi, Dash who was in effect a real entertainer. Dash would roll over and dance and just be so much fun. After his passing, Rich's wife remained sad and Rich wanted to find a way to cheer her up. So we connected and after several sketches, Rich gave his approval and I did this final piece. He wanted him and his wife in the audience and an Oscar nearby which I was able to include. Their response was so heartwarming but I think the picture says it all.
