"I have purchased several painting/prints from Jeff over the years going back to 1996. I have always enjoyed his art, and it does make me laugh. This past fall my pet Oscar, a blue fronted amazon passed away after having him for 35 years. I wanted to remember him in a happy way and commissioned Jeff to do a painting of him.
I sent Jeff numerous pictures and stories -the one that got chosen was a scene when my wife and I brought home a doggie bag with a chicken leg in it. To watch Oscar devour that chicken leg was both weird and hysterical. Jeff put together a handful of really great sketches and we picked that one to be the actual painting. The whole process from start to finish was super easy and Jeff is a delight to work with.
The painting came out way better than expected, it is totally awesome, thanks Jeff!!! This painting is very special to me and my family. I will definitely have Jeff do some paintings of my dogs. -----Dan R.
