Part of my journey is to do art that makes me, and you, laugh. But it isn't
enough to just knock out a painting. I want it to be beautifully done, with
a real focus on time of day, lighting, drama and still allowing for the humor
to be dominant. Mt. Rushmore is such an iconic image, I have visited it
at a normal time of day- but when I researched other photos of it, I was
struck by how great it looked at dusk. So the blue cast over it all made
the mood feel just right. Puff on, dudes.
